time for reinvention

Life Transition
How would you describe your current career or job? Do you know your unique gifts and talents? And if so, are you using them in your work? Remember, it's never too late to reinvent yourself, and it can be an exhilarating and fun process!

Though fear may arise when leaving our comfort zones, once we make peace with it, we become open to receiving inspiration from above and excited about the possibilities of transformation. I'm now on my third career challenge and with each one, I had to tune out not only my inner critic but also the voices of others.

This fear bridles our creativity and keeps us bound to societal norms. No one means to stop us they are just blinded by their lack of confidence in themselves and not ready for personal change and growth. I only mention this because when those around us change we are forced to reexamine our own lives.

God has a path chosen just for us using our special gifts and talents. We just need to quietly tap into our hearts and souls and listen for guidance. Relinquishing the perceived safety of our current circumstances is scary but necessary to evolve. Experience in my other careers provided me with personal growth and allowed me to realize what was still missing to make me fulfilled. These fields taught me to ask myself the right questions because even though I “had it all” I still longed for something more.

I found fulfillment for me comes in the service to others and their dreams I believe that we are here to love and be loved. The fun part is discovering that path that gets you excited and makes your heart sing.

Just for thought:
1) Do you get excited by the thought of a career change?
2) Do you feel that you are getting as much as you are giving?
3) Have you made life decisions based on other's opinions?
